Getting started

Welcome to Qualiq

Qualiq lets you earn income on the tokenized stocks you already hold. You pick a good price to sell at, or to buy at, and a maker pays you a premium for that commitment. The premium is fixed when you deposit.

The strategies

Qualiq is in alpha on a test network. Deposits are not open yet.

Getting started

How it works

A position runs from your deposit to the market close on Friday.

  1. Pick a tierChoose an asset, a strategy and a tier (Steady, Boost or Max), or set your own price under Advanced. The app shows your income and what you get back in each outcome.
  2. DepositYour NVDA or USDC goes into a smart contract. The maker pays the premium into the same contract, so your income is fixed from the start.
  3. Friday closeThe position settles on NVDA's closing price at 4pm New York time. Moves earlier in the week do not count.
  4. WithdrawOnce the position settles, withdraw your payout and income from Dashboard.

Who pays you

Makers price options on Qualiq. When you deposit, a maker buys an option from you. With Sell High, the option lets the maker buy your NVDA at your price. With Buy Low, it lets the maker sell you NVDA at your price. The maker pays a premium for that option. Your income is the premium after the Qualiq fee.

The premium, and anything the maker would owe you at settlement, go into the same contract as your deposit. Your income and payout are covered from the moment the position opens.

Strategies

Sell High

Choose a price above today's that you would be glad to sell at. You earn income while you wait, and if NVDA closes above your price on Friday, you sell at your price and receive cash.

Pick your price

Try a Friday close

Sell High suits you if you hold NVDA and have a price in mind to sell at.

Good to knowIf NVDA closes above your price, you sell at your price and receive cash, plus your income. If it closes at or below your price, you keep your NVDA and your income; the income offsets part of any fall.

In options terms, you're selling a covered call.

Strategies

Buy Low

Choose a price below today's that you would be glad to buy at. You earn income on your USDC while you wait, and if NVDA closes below your price on Friday, your USDC buys NVDA at your price.

Pick your price

Try a Friday close

Buy Low suits you if you want to own NVDA at a price below today's.

Good to knowIf NVDA closes below your price, you buy at your price, and your income lowers what you paid. If it closes at or above your price, you get your USDC back with your income.

In options terms, you're selling a cash-secured put. The rates include about 4.5% a year from the yield-bearing stablecoin your USDC will be held in at launch.
